The Lore

The World

In the beginning, there was only the Void. Then came The Fracture — a cataclysm that shattered existence into ten distinct realms, each one warping a fragment of the original energy into a world of its own. The Voidwalkers were scattered across them. They do not know how they arrived. They only know that something beyond the horizon is calling them forward.

Realm I
Forsaken Prison
"The lantern has burned for ten thousand years. No one knows who lit it."
Ancient
High Assassin
It does not fight with strength. It fights with patience — infecting its enemies with a slow curse that makes them forget why they were fighting.
Realm II
Forgotten Forest
"The door only opens for those unafraid of what lives inside."
Ancient
Forest Druid
Its body is made of living bark and pulsing vines. It does not speak. It communicates through the growth and decay of the plants around it. It is not malicious. It is grief.
Realm III
The Jungle
"Frozen at the moment a bargain was signed with the Void. Nothing has moved since."
Ancient
Nature Warden
Its eyes are hollow red — not with fire, but with the specific pain of someone who got exactly what they wanted and destroyed everything they loved in the process.
Realm IV
Laboratory
"The formula was never found. The researcher never left."
Ancient
Mystic Faust
Every creature it encounters becomes a potential ingredient in its next experiment. It has been alone here for so long it has forgotten what company feels like.
Realm V
Cosmic Path
"It leads to every realm — if you know which stones to step on."
Ancient
Dark Shaman
The most powerful of the Ancients, and the only one that seems genuinely interested in whether the Creatures succeed or fail — for reasons it has never explained.
Realm VI
Ice Cave
"Nothing is destroyed here. Everything is archived. Forever."
Ancient
Ice Wizard
The most powerful spellcaster of the ten Ancients, but one that fights with sadness rather than aggression. It freezes things not to harm them — it cannot stop itself.
Realm VII
Volcano of the Fire Dragon
"This realm was here before The Fracture. It did not ask for visitors."
Ancient
Fire Rogue
Its form shifts between a creature and a force of nature. The only Ancient that cannot be reasoned with, bargained with, or appealed to. It can only be matched in intensity.
Realm VIII
Castle of the Doom
"The candles never burn down. The altar never receives anything."
Ancient
Warrior of Light
The high priest of an inverted faith — devoted entirely to the continuation of the ritual, unable to conceive of stopping. It does not fight out of malice. It fights because stopping would mean the ritual was for nothing.
Realm IX
Ancient Castle of the Bloody King
"The Bloody King is dead. The realm does not know this."
Ancient
Freeze Knight
An instrument of pure enforced loyalty that outlived its purpose and cannot stop. It is not the Bloody King. It is what the Bloody King created to maintain order after death.
Realm X
Sphinx & Pyramids
"The message tells how to return to the Void — and what must be given up."
Ancient
Fire Priest
It does not move. It asks questions. Every wrong answer costs the challenger a memory, an ability, or a piece of their identity. The correct answer changes each time it is asked.

Each realm is sealed. The only way out is through the Ancient that rules it.

Ten realms. Ten Ancients. One path back.

⚔
The Ten

The Ancients

Ten 1/1 beings. One for every realm. Each has been there since before the Creatures arrived — and will remain long after they leave. Only one has been revealed.

Ice Wizard
Realm VI · Ice Cave
Ice Wizard
Ancient · 1/1
The most powerful spellcaster of the ten Ancients. It freezes things not to harm them but because it cannot stop itself — the realm's essence runs through it like a current it cannot turn off. At the moment of apparent defeat, it releases all stored cold energy at once. The battle does not end. It is preserved exactly as it was.
⬡ 9 Ancients remain unrevealed. Each rules a realm. Each holds a secret.
